Psych3 is a spec branding project for a fictional group named psych3, inspired by the word psyche, representing human mind and soul. The “3” symbolizes the three sides of the group: who they are, who they show the world, and who they are becoming. Their first release is a single called Perfectly. This project aims to create a visual direction, a world in which viewers can immerse themselves in a unique space. The project deliverables include a 8 page photo-book, poster design, postcard design, stickers, CD design, and photo-cards.
The direction speaks to how distortion, restraint, and intimacy can create a clear sense of discomfort, control, and curiosity. This embodies how we present ourselves as carefully constructed versions in an environment that’s always changing. How we react to change is how we will navigate life.
